Cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, kale, carrot, jicama, red and green bell pepper, banana, orange, grapefruit, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, lime, pineapple, ginger, green tea, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seed, pistachios & chia seeds.
Seriously. Lol I love having an amazing power smoothie! It tasted amazing. I only use a small chunk of each thing. Nom nom nom.

crystalfitspo This is how I lost 5 lbs in a week. I go to the gym and don't leave until my watch says I burned 1500 calories- then I ride my bike home for a cool down. By the time I get home this is where I'm at :). I shoot for 5 or 6 days a week but this week I only made it 4 days because I'm on a mini vacation for 2 days at my boyfriends' dad's house in Marin County :) beautiful down here! I don't take a vacation from fitness though! I live actively. Today I will spend 3 hours hiking/mushroom hunting and then apx 2 hours shopping at Marshall's lol. It's my favorite store & we don't have one where I'm from :P 1y

  •   crystalfitspo @frhkamal__ you can't spot reduce fat, meaning you can't lose fat in a specific spot just because you want to. Your body will lose fat wherever it wants- generally the most recent place you gained fat is where you'll lose first and then work it's way back. Just keep going- once your body burns up the extra fat elsewhere it will get to your buns & thighs too :) keep at it with the cardio. Also lifting heavy weights to gain muscle helps a lot because the more muscle you have the more calories you burn everyday :) 1y

  •   crystalfitspo @uncommonmom_ I listed a full routine here , first comment. It's generally like this but ill skip a circuit if I'm short on time :) and I forgot to hit triceps & calves with this one so I mixed those in tonight :) 1y
  •   crystalfitspo @uncommonmom_ oh I didn't list weight or how I broke down the circuits. Sorry ill have to do that next time! In a couple days as I will be sore tomorrow & the next :) but if you cut this into groups of 5 moves and them cut the reps in half that's what I do & then repeat. So first circuit was: 10 DB rows (20lbs), 10 DB overhead press (15 lbs), 10 bicep curls (20 lbs), 10 boat sit ups, 10 push ups and then repeat that entire circuit then cardio interval of 100 buttocks & then into the next circuit of moves the same way as the first. The biggest dumbbells I have are 20s :( I miss the gym! When I could row 40s! But oh well I make do :) just more reps ;) 1y

  •   crystalfitspo @brandyjaxson yeah I lost all but 12 lbs without a gym. I lost the most recent 12 after joining the gym now that I can afford it, but 176 without a gym :) I started with walking because that's all I could do- a mile, then two, then three- up to 8 a day, everyday. Walking really burns a lot of calories. Then I started running up and down the bleachers and jogging on the track at the local high school and I've always incorporated Jillian michaels DVDs- she has great workouts. And I did a lot of body weight strength training like squats, lunges, push ups, etc. Also did insanity. There are tons of great workouts to do outside of a gym :) I just mix it up a lot- but always 4-6 days a week. 1y

crystalfitspo I am EXHAUSTED!!! I decided to bike the 10 miles home from school. No big deal- I ride all over town and 10 miles isn't much. WRONG. there was like 30-40 MPH winds going against me the WHOLE TIME & its so much harsher on the freeway. It took 2.5 hours straight to make it home. Omg I'm done. Legs are jello. I need a nap. 1y
