crstphranthny So Fancy The Engagement (@ftedesign) absolutely killed it at our wedding. From coordinating to set design or decorations to styling to graphic designs. They were the entire package we needed for our wedding day. I cannot thank you enough for capturing our vision and especially Jennifer's when it came to the intimate feel that she wanted. You guys are amazing and thank you so much! Words can't express my gratitude. 2d

crstphranthny One thing God has been showing us on our honeymoon, is the lack of community we have in LA. Everywhere we go is so community oriented and it is truly so awesome and beautiful to see a togetherness in the people all around us. The next move in LA is one towards community. I can't wait to see it take place. #toniferadventure #communityec14 #epicenterconf14 6d
  •   crstphranthny I want to recover my humanity in discipleship to Jesus, and I want to lead others to do the same. 6d
  •   acecruz while we were on the east coast this past weekend, people we're raving about how cool LA was and how much nicer people are. everyone knows that people in New York are the rudest people! 6d
  •   crstphranthny @acecruz haha yes very true. New York is nasty rude. San Francisco was also rude. But seeing the community and togetherness in Portland and Santa Cruz, it would be beautiful for LA as a whole get there. LA has it's nice parts and nasty parts. I really feel like everything is just a competition in LA which causes division. I want to see that broken. 6d
  •   spank_man LA has a sense of community, but it's very cliquey. other communities unite as a whole. In LA, people divide themselves by creating miniature sub-groups which come off as "invite only," and only within those sub-groups is when we see unity. for a while it's been like that, and i'm sure you see this aspect all around you, i do. churches, corporations, and organizations are all guilty. it's interesting that idea of "gang-banging" originated here, that is a manifestation of the division between the people of LA (not saying other places don't have gangs, but you know what i mean) it's our population in combination with our land area.. new york city may have more people, but they are crammed in a smaller geographical area. my mom will be the first to praise how she instantly feels a family-like connection when meeting a fellow new yorker. in LA, we have so many people stretched over such a large area, with so many options cultural options for entertainment. we are divided because we are too diverse. but that doesn't mean we're hopeless. i agree, we need to have unity within our community. hopefully, this conference will unite the body of Christ, and allow people to realize that ALL who know Jesus are part of the same family. 6d
  •   acecruz @spank_man I was just about to say that. Portland is much smaller so their community is not so spread out as in LA. 6d
  •   crstphranthny @spank_man on point! I love LA so much and I would never leave it. But this is so true! The church needs to be the first to change this! 6d
  •   derrickmv Sociological Constructs, there are tons of sub-communities in LA which make it harder to unite, too diverse. @spank_man is correct! 6d
  •   migl_shark Its all internal, we think there is a division between groups but i dare you to come with an open mind and free spirit and try to become a part of that group and i bet you will be accepted. The only people that make others feel like they don't belong are only projecting their insecurities. Too much diversity shouldn't be a barrier. It should be a blessing. #getupgetoutanddosomething 6d

crstphranthny It was pretty awesome hearing @johnmarkcomer speak on his first day back from sabbatical.

Reading Loveology was a huge impact on Jennifer and me and brought a brighter light onto what our love for each other really meant. It was an awesome experience getting to visit this awesome church and hear John Mark confirm what God has been telling us on our honeymoon!
We can't wait to get back and accomplish the things God has assigned us, but first we got another day here in Portland then one in Seattle!

crstphranthny We made it to Portland and the first thing we couldn't wait to do was visit @bridgetownajc.
We've been missing out on @hcc1830 for the past couple of weeks, so visiting here filled our void of community and church.
