craww Today I finally got the final printed copies of "Vessel" delivered and it's everything I hoped for!

It's been a long time in happening. A book has been something I've had in mind for a few years now, actually taking the step and launching the Kickstarter was a daunting prospect.

But here we are! Thank you to all that supported the project, I'm excited to finally be able to share the book - if you missed the Kickstarter, there will be a few copies of the book available in my store soon.

craww A graphite drawing from this week. I'm in the process of transferring it onto a 760mm x 560mm sheet of rives BFK paper. I'll be painting this one with acrylic washes, something I haven't done in a while, so it will be fun to see how this turns out! 2w

craww I’ve been trying a slightly different way of working as I’ve been exploring some new ideas. Rather than working on them in the sketchbook, I’ve been drawing them directly as more finished pieces. I’ve enjoyed not trying to replicate an idea I’ve sketched before. This is the latest in progress. 12” x 20” graphite on Fabriano paper 3w

craww “Echo” - graphite and gold leaf on Fabriano. The second of my drawings for the aestheticism show at Vanilla Gallery in Tokyo, curated by @beautifulbizarremagazine  With these drawings I wanted to capture a feeling of fragmentation: hard lines and fractures - brutal blocks of tone a counterpoint to the flow and the elegance of the figures.
