clubbydubby The thing about mental barriers, They're meant to be broken. Last night, the workout said I was supposed to go up to 415# for 1-1-1 today. I couldn't sleep I was so nervous/scared about finally going to 400 and beyond. I was still nervous until 405# left the rack. I had to trust my rehab, the extra work I've put in, and my body. Well here's 425 and 445 x 2. My pre-surgery high bar PR is 435# I know the box height is a tad high, but it wouldn't have mattered.... #aclgains #aclrecovery #killwolf #selfmade #boxsquats 6d

clubbydubby MU PR today at 10 and the heaviest I've been in awhile 195# this morn. Pretty happy with how everything is coming together training wise in 2015. I had realistic expectations for my recovery and so far I'm way beyond where I thought I'd be at this time. I've changed my diet around, I'm Eating more foods I enjoy, getting bigger and stronger. clubbydubby Found out about my ankle impingement and Now fixing my flat feet problem that I really had no idea about until the last year. . Picked up my custom orthotics today and squats, and walking already improved/ looked better. Looking forward to getting my body used to the complete change from being structurally imbalanced #orthos #flatfeetproblems 2w
  •   scottmassari I had orthotics when I was younger but kind of let it slide as I got older. How has affected your squat mechanics and have you put the orthotics in squat shoes? I always had trouble with them in things like soccer shoes that had a low ankle. 2w
  •   clubbydubby @scottmassari I just got them today my body has to adjust but just squatting in running shoes my position was way better. I won't be lifting in them for awhile and even then I'll have to gradually add weight because my body structurally will be in a completely different loading and position. 2w
