christinetrainer Personal training is more than putting clients through one workout after next. Working on form and imbalances is CRUCIAL before advancing to any other type of creative progressed workout. This is my client Rosanne's first training session. The left side is her first squat assessment and if you can see, her arms and core are falling forward. Knees are over her toe lines and feet are turning out. These are imbalances created by daily inactivity or just plain sitting down for long periods of time. Flexibility training is very important (foam rolling / corrective static stretching) but in the mean time a simple thing like leaning against a physio ball on the wall will force her to perform her squat properly. (Notice her knees are in 90 degree angle and her upper body is a lot more straight). #FitFromTheGroundUp 6d
