chrisconnolly Three and a half years ago, this odd-looking camera found its way into my life. Since that time, I've slung it around the world on my back and it's been almost a constant companion throughout my travels. It changed the way I take photos and looked at the world, and it's one of the few objects which I genuinely love.

The world has been tough on it. The batteries are dying and are held in place with tape. The viewfinder is dented and dusty. Film backs often get stuck and shots are lost. Despite this, it keeps cranking out beautiful shot after shot, from Japan to Iceland to Africa, and everywhere in between.

However, it's time to have a reliable camera again. Say hello to new Bronica, and a happy retirement to old Bronica.
