chiqee Sunday afternoon latte & apple turnover treat from @palletcoffee. Have no idea what the latte art is suppose to be. A tree? A light bulb? Either way, delicious coffee as always. 7h

chiqee This is pretty much what you see anywhere & everywhere in Vancouver. Plants in varying state of bloom & I'm just walking around in a hoodie b/c it's a bit nippy. 9h

chiqee There's never too much matcha @bashocafe. Matcha latte afternoon tea special w/ their delicious matcha cheesecake. Plus moustache designs on the lattes. 1w

chiqee #tbt when I was on an island in the Andaman Sea in Thailand. I can't wait to go back for a visit in April. I have a quick trip to Asia & Thailand is just an easy choice to fly in, unwind, & fly out.
Not sure how much the military junta has affected the country & whether there's a noticeable change. Apparently the area that I'm visiting is mostly pensioners. I can't wait for Thai food, tropical fruits, massages, & beaches. Thailand will be one of those countries that I'll visit every so often because it is just awesome. Even though I'll be visiting Thailand, I'm going to be staying somewhere j haven't been before. Always trying something new & adventure.

chiqee I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way but living in Vancouver means that it could rain & be gloomy for days. So I have learned to live for & appreciate the moments like these, however long or brief it may be because it all could very well change. 1mon

chiqee I've been running this route for a while now & somebody asked why I don't change it up & doesn't it get boring? Never! My favourite part is watching this unobstructed horizon. Today there was only a halo of light & it made the sea dance & simmer. 1mon

chiqee Street Food City is happening now this week. Visit the art gallery front lawn for quite a diverse selection of food trucks. Had @dddinertruck's homemade chilli, bacon, cheddar cheese dog w/ butterscotch root beer. Yum! 1mon

chiqee #tbt to riding around in a motorbike in Saigon with the XO Tour crew. My guide, Yen, & the girls at XO are skilled motorists. It was so fun riding around several of Saigon's districts & eat for 4.5hrs. The most memorable was weaving in & out of Saigon's notoriously crazy roads & traffic. If you are in HCMC, I highly recommend their tour. Here I'm pretending to be the driver but it was fun being driven around Saigon at night. 2mon

chiqee When people ask me of all the areas I was able to visit in Vietnam recently, which was the most impressionable? I think Hoi An would be my answer. It's not hard to see why it was picked by UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Visually & culturally charming with an awesome culinary appeal. 2mon

chiqee The moment when the ocean overtakes the shore. 2mon
  •   anaderzafar @chiqee thanks, I think you are right. I was kinda worried that it would be really bad but I guess in the end it all comes down to what you're expecting. I'll make sure not to let any of my trash laying around You have made me really curious as to what the northern beaches look like though, can't wait to visit Vietnam. 1mon
  •   chiqee @anaderzafar I thought it was fun making a trek to the north end. It's very peaceful & the water is less calm than the south though. I could still swim but the waves were rougher. I've noticed that that was where the snorkelling tours were. I didn't do the tours, just paid a guy to take me to the places & could spend all day being in one place or several. I don't think the snorkelling was very good because the water was really rough. 1mon
  •   anaderzafar @chiqee thanks, I'm not really the snorkling kinda guy so that works out for me though. But how do you get back? Did someone pick you up at the end of the day? 1mon
  •   chiqee @anaderzafar u negotiate a motorist for the day. He just hangs out in the proximity & waits until u are done & ready to move on. So it's way better than a tour. 1mon
  •   anaderzafar @chiqee that sounds really easygoing, any idea on how much they charge you for that? 1mon
  •   chiqee @anaderzafar 350,000d from Long Beach to Sao Beach (30km). Agreed to be picked up at 10am & left around 5pm to watch the sunset as you ride along the road. 400,000 to North cost it was further distance. Same thing but I went along 3-4 beach areas that I was told to visit. Left around 5pm to see the sunset along the coast. Pretty awesome. 1mon
  •   anaderzafar @chiqee wow, that's really not expensive at all So they pick you up at your hotel and drop you off and then later on the day they pick you up and rerurn you to yoyr hotel? 1mon
