chefdraden I eat at a lot of restaurants in Los Angeles and I have to say that one of my favorite Classic French bistros is @lapoubellebistro. There food never skips a beat and the family neighborhood environment suits my hunger for everyday dinning. I love ordering there Coq Au Vin or there crispy fried Truffle Brussels sprouts. chefdraden Last night the owner of a very popular restaurant in Scottsdale AZ invited me to his place for an after hours cooking session. He had heard about me through the grapeVine and wanted to see what I was made off. In all my #truecooks glory I kindly expected his offer and took my little ass over, sluty outfit and all. I wore Non grip cowboy boots and a crop top cut off sweater. He asked were was my chefs jackets and I kindly said in return. Apparently you didn't hear everything about me. I don't do chefs jackets and I don't do those ugly kitchen shoes . I violated many of the states health codes but I didn't give a shit. I wasn't working for money..... I was working because I got called out to show off my stuff. After it was all over, the owner opened a amazing bottle of wine and we talked business. All in all I had an amZing Fucken time. I love it when restaurant owners open up there establishments to me and let me do my thing. Thank you unnamed Scottsdale friend. 1mon

chefdraden Never Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch. I learned this early on in my career. It's up to you to lay yours eggs and it's up to you to make sure those motherfuckers hatch. Don't let people dick you around. You come first and everyone else comes second. I worked my way up the ladder, not by working for a company but by working for myself. I have never worked in a restaurant and I never want too. I earned my title as chef not by kissing some Executive Chefs Ass or working for somebody else's kingdom but by starting from starch and working my way up my own food chain. If being a private chef and starting my own catering company and apron line makes me any less than a chef than somebody that works at a corporate kitchen. Than fuck my title, I don't need it. My name alone will get me to the top!!!!!!. This is dedicated to the asshole who put me down earlier this year for not ever working for a corporate restaurant. I'm here to say FUCK YOU. Don't be mad because I didn't bow down and kiss your executive chef Croc shoes and obey your every move. I'm doing fine just on my own. 1mon
