chancecraven The last photo from this weekend is my favorite photo! - - In a world where everyone tells you how to be a parent, what you're doing right or wrong and opinions are like as... Well, you know! I am beyond blessed that Elijah has a mother who is confident in being the mother God created her to be!

She spends every waking moment doing anything and everything necessary to make sure Elijah is taken care of. And there is no better example of that than a day on the boat!

Before we ever left the house, Katie packed bottles, extra juice, gold fish, crackers, grapes, sun screen and extra clothes. The diaper bag was stocked, sandwiches were made and the cooler was overflowing.

On the water, she made sure he was safe! He had on his SPF shirt, was covered in sunscreen and wearing his gilligan hat. She blew up his raft, fed him while I fished and knew where he was at during every second of the day.

And when it was all over, when the sun was setting and I was driving back to the dock... She wrapped him up in a towel, snuggled him tightly and kept him warm.

This photo perfectly captures how much my wife loves our son and the relationship between the two of them! This photo is my favorite photo.

chancecraven My wife continues to do things that make me fall head over heels in love with her... Yesterday, it was standing on the back of the pontoon boat and showing our son that girls fish too. 4d

chancecraven To the many men and women who've died, so that I can continue living, thank you for these moments! Thank you for giving all that you could, so that I can freely enjoy all that I have. My family is safer because of the decisions you've made and for that I will always remember you! - - Memorial Day 2015. 4d

chancecraven Agree or Disagree? - - We need to create more opportunities for children to interact with police officers and fire fighters! Opportunities that allow children to build relationships with the men and women who've chosen to protect their community. We need to teach children how to honor heroes, by doing it ourselves... Because if we continue allowing the media in general, to teach children that every cop is bad and every fire fighter is crooked, there will be a generation that wants nothing to do with public service. There will no longer be heroes, ready to protect us. 1w

  •   _grits Agree. 1w
  •   xponyxboyx When I was a kid we knew the cops that patrolled our neighborhood by name. They'd come out and shoot hoops with us or just sit and talk. We didn't live in the best neighborhood so it was cool for them to check up on us. 1w
  •   mohio Agree 1w
  •   carrielynnwyatt 100% agree 7d
  •   eldartanian Agree 7d
  •   brittanybettis My kids always want to speak to police officers when we see in out and about. After we say hi and look at their cool gun and stuff I always make sure my kids say, "Thank you for keeping us safe." I can tell it means a lot to officers and I hope it is instilling respect in my kids for the police. 7d

chancecraven It's been ten years since I had the idea to start a nonprofit, focused on providing the chance for young adults to make a difference.

It's been a rollercoaster to say the least!

What started with feeding the homeless in Jax beach, making valentines day cards for the elderly and picking up trash in our community... Ended up turning into traveling to Haiti after an earthquake, Japan after a tsunami and 21 disasters in the United States.

Along the way I have been blessed to meet people I consider family, friends that'll answer my phone call 24/7 and disaster relief is actually how I met my wife. The last ten years have been the most memorable years of my life!

And to think that it all started with a desire to do something... The idea that I could make difference! It's been hard, it's been fun and though nothing turned out like I thought it would, I'd do it all over again.

To the people who've been around since Myspace and itsChance, you'll never know how much it meant that you believed in me! And to anyone with a desire and dream to do something... Do it! It won't be easy. There will be days that it sucks. But ten years from now, you'll look back and be glad that you tried.

chancecraven Doctors office shenanigans! - - I'm going to do my very best to teach Elijah that there's a time to be serious and there's a time to be silly... Because life's too short to be serious all the time! 1w

chancecraven It was going to happen eventually... I mean I have driven her close to 150,000 miles without a hiccup. But tonight, even after changing fuel lines and filters on the side of the interstate, I had to call a tow truck. Tomorrow, she'll see the doctor first thing in the morning. - - "I've never put a truck this big on a flatbed nor have I hauled a truck that could pull me if I broke down... This is a first, son." - Billy the Tow Truck Driver 2w
  •   milkmanburton That sucks man, surprised you haven't had problems especially with it not being deleted 2w
  •   chancecraven @milkmanburton I'm anxious to find out what's wrong with it too... Turn the key, tries to turn over for almost thirty seconds then just stops. It's been a great truck! 2w
  •   milkmanburton I know a lot of the 11-12s supposedly had problems with full systems to where they had to be replaced. My 12 never had that problem 2w
  •   lumberjosh I love the face of a tow truck driver when they see a big truck. I've never had mine on one yet thankfully. But I've had tow truck drivers ask why I didn't just tow my friends car or truck lol 2w
  •   kevinmawae First time I've seen a Ford towed, driven one for last 20+ years, never had a problem 2w
  •   chancecraven @kevinmawae "reduced engine power" popped up on the screen and it wouldn't accelerate, pulled over and it cut off... Craziest thing ever. Ford's got it now and I should know something by the end of the day! And I'll keep be driving ford for 20+ years too, it's the best truck out there. 2w
  •   mrmcgraw Nooooooooooo!!!!! DR1!! It will have its day again. It has accomplished too much good for it to have issues. 2w
  •   teamcode3 Real nice 2w

chancecraven What'd you say? You want to know what it's like to buy dirty diesel in Mississippi, that clogs your fuel filter, causing your truck to shut off, so you can drain and change the filters on the side of a highway? No problem! Lemme go ahead and take a photo of what that looks like for you... 2w
