chaiwalla Treating myself to a 5 star retreat to help recover from my injuries. No, not really, this is a royal bedroom inside Drottningholm Palace a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the worlds most well-preserved castles built in he 1960s. It's well worth a visit. Even if just to check out the beautiful gardens and the island that the palace sits on. #WHPthegreatindoors

Ps thanks to everyone for their kind words on the last photo. I'm slowly getting back to everyone!

chaiwalla Rainy London memories. Im posting this #latergram as I just spent quite some time going through my camera roll as I sit here nursing an injured foot and feeling slightly homesick. Yesterday as I was sunbathing on a grassy bank by a beach on Aspö a young chap in a car ran over my foot. It became the talk of the town so I am sure that if you ever happen to visit the island you may hear of the story of the "summer of 2014 when a tourists foot was run over" - my scream and reaction and the drivers shock caused quite a scene you see! I'm very lucky and thankful that my foot is not in a worse condition really. However if there is one lesson and bit of travel advice I can give based on this experience it is to get insurance or if you are an EU citizen make sure you have a valid EHIC/E111 card otherwise you'll have to pay expensive hospital fees! It's kind of crazy that you can't just show your passport but that's the way it is! Well have a great weekend all, whatever you decide to get up to! 5d
  •   chaiwalla @londonlivingdoll thanks Dolly B xxx 4d
  •   chaiwalla @florida33441 thank you! I am considering a "fromwhereistand" shot but not sure my cut foot looks too photogenic 4d
  •   chaiwalla @miandyue aww thanks for explaining the like ;) nothing is broken thankfully and I can hobble about if I use the heal of the right foot - but taking it easy and being looked after by the big sis luckily 4d

chaiwalla I'm planning on going to Helsinki next week, has anyone got any tips? Here are some essential items that I plan on taking with me. Below I also list why I pack these items.

If you want to get involved and win a road trip for 2 simply upload your #openroadessentials with a short caption on what makes these items so special. Make sure you tag @enterpriseuk in your caption too. They'll be picking 2 overall winners and check out their account for more info.
-------------------------
Multiple plug socket adapter: this is an absolute must when travelling with so many electronics - it also allows your friends to charge with you too.
-------------------------
Swimming goggles: for me, an open water swimming addict, I always have to carry goggles with me. Seriously!
------------------------
Book: essential for making long journeys pass by faster. A head torch is a great complementary item too - then you can read on a night train or a hostel bed without disturbing anyone. I also like to read books by authors that are from the country I am in. This book for example is by a Swede and I am in Stockholm at the moment.
--------------------
Polaroid: I am not naive enough to believe that everyone has access to email and digital photos - polaroid shots are the perfect gift to give to a nice stranger or family you meet along you journey.
--------------------
Yellow cap: not only does this protect my fair skin from the sun its also my signature accessory piece and helps to make portrait pictures POP!

chaiwalla I just couldn't help it. It wasn't possible to go for a bike ride in Norrmalmstorg and not pop in to the Nobis again for a spiral stairway shot. Plus I just love my friend @ady.rian tag #sowhatifimnotthefirst haha. 2w

chaiwalla I wondered what this man was thinking, he was so deep in intense thoughts, I could see it in his characterful face. Was he remembering his own wedding day like it was yesterday, was he reliving memories of his wife and remembering a life filled with celebrations and love, or even struggles. Either way it got me thinking. Will I ever live to his age? Will I ever been a position to have the same memories? #mypugliaexperience 2w

chaiwalla Do you have someone special to watch the sunset with? If so tag them below. #justforfun

So yesterday I got back to Stockholm and got to visit this location, my favourite sunset spot. I also had the pleasure of meeting @stefankarlstrom and he showed me some great new photography spots on Södermalm so I'll be able to share some new angles of the city soon. If you're not familiar with Stefans feed you should get familiar! He has a great style and he has such a consistently high quality to each picture. I learnt a helluva lot of from him in the few hours we spent together. Thanks for all the tips mate!

chaiwalla The good thing about rain in Italy? You can chase brolly shots. Be warned though. If you're wearing flip flops it can be slippy and you may make a rather annoying squeaky sound. 2w

chaiwalla Polignano sunset. This place, our final destination, was like a dream, or a movie set. It was hard to believe it's beauty. Beathtaking.

Puglia will forever be in my heart. I beg you all to try to make it there once in your lifetime. #mypugliaexperience

chaiwalla Friday night. Are you going to hit up any bars? This chap is certainly thinking about it.

On another note yesterday I received my first negative, and rather catty, comment in a very long time. Rather than be affected by this it actually made me realise how great the community within Instagram is and I feel extremely grateful to be followed by such a ruddy nice bunch of people. So cheers to you all and have a really great weekend. X

  •   chaiwalla @tianapix thanks for standing behind me T. The spritz was mighty delicious! 3w
  •   jessicahull1 Never need to be rude or catty to anybody. IG should be about supporting each other's talent/vision. If it's not to their taste, just simply unfollow. I love the interactiveness of IG. Certainly don't get anywhere near as many comments/fans as you though. Good work for turning round a negative to a positive. 3w

chaiwalla Behind the scenes.

Earlier this year I had a fantastic opportunity to work with @mercedesbenzuk to create and direct a scene for an "Instagram movie" featuring actor James Corden. Then it was left to budding film makers and creatives to submit their own scenes. Well the competition is now over and all the additional scenes have been chosen. Now we just have to vote for a winner! This person will then get to direct their own movie featuring James. If you'd like to watch the entrants videos and vote all you need to do is go to http://www.clastory.co.uk/ and select your favourite video! Thanks for your help.

chaiwalla From yesterday's snorkelling around Tremiti Islands. Wow the sea was just the nicest colour ever, I've literally done no editing to this picture. It really was this colour!

I feel somewhat blessed this week. Thank you @viaggiarepuglia.

Also thank you to everyone for your comments. I sadly have limited time to reply at the moment. #mypugliaexperience
