ceefor #1604 Innis & Gunn Toasted Oak IPA (Scotland)

Merry Christmas, y'all. So I'm in Toronto and I picked up a four pack of I&G goodness, which had this 5.6% IPA in it. This apparently is of the style of IPAs from the 1800s, which explains the odd taste. It has that sweet, liquory taste that often inhabits I&G bangers, with subtle hops that compliment the barrel aged flavours, bitterness, fuck all head and a creamy body. Love it. Samuel Smith glass FTW, too.

ceefor #1603 Trafalgar Niagara Peach Mead (Canada)

I'm feeling that sweet shit tonight, so I figured I'd crack this cork stopped peach mead from just west of Toronto. It's an 8.5%, very honey forward banger, tangerine colour, super fruity and sweet yet with a bitter undertone and a slightly less sugary finish. Going down very well indeed.

ceefor #1602 Bavaria Radler Grapefruit (Holland)

The last time I had a macro Radler, it was a pretty shitty experience. But this old fella isn't pissing me off. Sitting at a bold 2% ABV, this pink, fizzy beverage isn't too sweet, nicely carbonated, slight legit fruit style bitterness with no horrible aftertaste. Refreshing as fuck with this all organic protein power bowl tho still.

ceefor #1601 Beau's Mission Accomplished A.I.P.A. (Canada)

We had the Chardonnay Barrel Aged version of this bad boy at the brewery over the summer, and it was incredible. The regular version is just as amazing. It's a 6.7% relative hop bomb, brewed with both US and New Zealand hops. Super fruity on the nose, bitter mouth with intense hop flavours, and a sweet, lingering finish. So fucking good, mate.

ceefor Just got my package from @babesngents - man this is some of the best quality local gear I've ever seen. Dope designs, wicked fit, all hand made. The packaging is crazy, with hand printed wrapping and a personalized note typed on a typewriter. Mad impressed. Hit 'em up and support, these guys are onto something. 6d

ceefor I'm not really heavy on the consuming tip and such, but I copped these two bad boys lately. @vitalydesign are the illest jewellery brand I've seen, straight up. And they're straight outta Toronto. Check 'em out. 6d

ceefor This is my cousin Steve. Fucking top bloke. I don't think I've spoken to him since we moved, cunt isn't on social media really. Miss that guy tho. Good times, so many wacky, zany antics. Melbourne, 2005. #tbt #throwbackthursday 1w

ceefor My reading game has been sluggish of late. Finally wrapped this bad boy. Pretty solid, I was hoping to come out of it with a deeper understanding of the world's financial systems but I'm just as confused as ever. I think you need to study economics at Uni to truly get this shit. It did remind me how volatile, biased and fickle our monetary system is, and it most certainly cannot be sustained indefinitely. 1w

ceefor #1600 Mikeller Texas Ranger (Denmark)

Blam. Number sixteen hundred. This 6.6% porter is brewed with chipotle peppers, so not only is it super dark, chocolatey, malty yet sweet, thick (pause) and tasty with a slight bite in the aftertaste. The spice is wicked. Not too much but just enough. This is fantastic.

ceefor #1599 Glutenberg Double Belge (Canada)

I fucxed with gluten free beer from time, G. This 6.5% ode to the Belgian Dubbel is solid. That slight tangy gluten free flavour hovers in the background but it's sweet (Belgian Candi Sugar sweet), malty and slightly bitter, without the sharp bubbly head that usually comes with Belgian or Abbey ales. Super easy drinking for the newbies yet decent enough as a session banger.

ceefor #1598 Beau's St. Luke's Verse (Canada)

Straight up, this is most def one of the strangest beers I've had in a while. It came in the latest Beau's mix pack, it's a gruit (my first of this kind - almost 1600 beers in, too) and it's described as 'a drinkable poupourri'. It's made with rosemary, lavender and thyme (all organic) so essentially it tastes like your Sunday roast in a glass. Super intense, overwhelmingly herby, slightly bitter with a touch of sweetness in the finish, it's 5.7% of oddness that's worth a crack.

ceefor This is the view from one of my favourite places in the world - The Rocks. Close to the horizon you should be able to just make out the Melbourne CBD; to the left is Port Phillip Bay and to the right is a bunch of mountains. Miss this spot. 2005. #tbt #throwbackthursday 2w

ceefor Back in 2004, I fell in love with a hat maker in Toronto called Big It Up. They were just so fresh and unique. Their Castro joint became my uniform, even for years after I moved back to Australia. In 2008, I was introduced to owner @dameionroyes, who has become a friend and is one of the kindest, most genuine people I've ever met. So I'm understandably excited to share a sneak peek at a collaboration between @brimzofficial and @themovementfam, all designed and conceptualized by the amazing @joshuatelfer. We're still 'Relentless with this effortless passion'. 2015 is finna be a great one, yall. Bless. 2w
