  •   catnee @gregariouslament it's always been my best lift but it's been pretty static since last year. I'm having a very hard time off the ground with sumo. I think ultimately conventional is going to be a stronger for me. My arms are long so I have a conventional advantage. I'm probably going to see if it's stronger after this meet. We will see. 3d

catnee Deadlift day is the best day. I look forward to it all week. Am I the only weirdo who likes to wear my favorite clothes for my favorite lifts? I'm going to call it visualizing success. My nasty swollen allergy nose has emerged for the season so I'm hoping I don't feel too crappy later. 4d

I told some of you #ironethos folks already but i am officially going to move over to #savagestrengthconditioning for the rest of my training. I think I'll benefit a lot from putting myself in a new environment. I'll miss you all though. 1w

catnee BIG block pull PR of 300x1 followed by a heavy single at 235x1 with @jeronkerridge at #savagegym. Sitting at right about 116/117 bodyweight right now, normally compete in 114. Spent a lot of time working on breathing, bracing, and lat tightness. About 3 1/2 weeks out from the April meet at EPC. Keeping my fingers crossed for 300 in Austin! This week is all gains all the time. 2w

  •   catnee You must be so dedicated to make it work in your apartment! I would have such a hard time. Do you have rubber mats to absorb the sound of the weights? It might help. @mianakano 1w
  •   mianakano @catnee I do have a yoga mat and it helps since I kind of just control the weight down. I have to make it work because commercial gyms here are shit full of machines and cardio equipment but only has one squat rack hogged by people who half rep their bench press or curling like a fucking asshole. Ugh. I had a membership for and ended it after one session, bought a squat rack, bench and barbell dumbbell set and never looked back. Hahahaha! 1w
