carmennatschke Didn't think #asparagus would grow here. But they do! #garden #gardening Now to figure out how to grow them as #whiteasparagus like the ones I had while growing up in #Europe. It's a bit more complicated process from what I've read. Anyone have success growing White Asparagus? #organic #veggies #vegetable #vegetables #natural #greenthumb 3d

  •   shelleycholmes Grow your own mangos? @carmennatschke 4d
  •   carmennatschke @shelleycholmes we do! It's fabulous. The tree is 15 years old - we bought it as a three-year old tree and it has been producing the most amazingly delicious fruit for years. If you like Mangos email or DM your address, I'd love to send you some. 4d
  •   shelleycholmes Wow! Do you have enough to spare? @carmennatschke how many mangos does a tree produce? How tall is the tree? 4d
  •   carmennatschke @shelleycholmes definitely. It produces 100s of Mangos during the season. I love to share our fruit bounty each season. I think it may be 25 to 30 feet. Not sure, but it's really tall from my petite 5' point of view :) 4d
  •   shelleycholmes Hundreds @carmennatschke? 30 foot tall? Confirmed: even if you stand on my shoulders, we are #tooshort to reach the top. 4d
  •   carmennatschke @shelleycholmes lol. Thank goodness for ladders and harvest tools :) Though the challenge is less the height and the tree hovering over the canal and dock - and more the Bluejays and squirrels. They love the mangos and they tend to get to the fruit before we do :( 3d
