canucksgamestars The Sedin twins played outstanding today in the canucks 3rd consecutive win against Cory Schneider and the devils. Although they may have been overplayed, every shift was tough, pressuring the Devils in their own end. Cory Schneider, the former Canuck, played extremely well, but in the end the Canucks prevailed. Daniel had the tying goal, his 2nd of the season, and Henrik his 6th assist in 3 games. The canucks will play San Jose on Thursday as the Sedins and the Canucks look to expand on their 3 game win streak. 11mon

canucksgamestars Derek Roy with a nice backhand goal against his old team! Good playmaking but a breakdown in the 3rd led the Canucks to a 5-1 loss. #Derek #Roy #15 #Vancouver #Canucks #Loss #Vs #Old #Team #Dallas #Stars #Exiting #Game #Backhand #Goal #Cory #Schneider #35 #in #net 1y

canucksgamestars One bad deflexion led the the one and only goal against Roberto Luongo. Filling in for the sick Schneider, Luongo played an excellent game and let the Canucks to an impressive 4-1 victory against the Calgary Flames. 3 goals in the 3rd by Lapierre, Raymond and Daniel Sedin ensured another good game and a W to go with it. 1y

canucksgamestars Welcome Back! With one goal in the first, Ryan Kesler had a very good game returning from injury. Schneider recorded his 4th shutout in the last nine games and the canucks stand proudly in third place in their conference. 1y

canucksgamestars Cory Scneider played amazingly in our win against Calgary today. Calgary did a very good job pressuring at our end of the ice, however, Schneider stopped 36 of 38 shots with a .947 save % for this game, and led the canucks to their 21st victory this season. 1y

canucksgamestars I would highly recommend making a donation to the Canucks for Kids Fund. Its for a good cause and is overall an amazing charity. For more info, visit http://canucks.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=84848 1y

canucksgamestars Chris Higgins was definitely a huge factor in todays 4-0 win over Edmonton. Most likely motivated by his new 4 year contract extension, he had 1 goal as well as several shots and some very well executed plays. Higgins also played alongside Derek Roy, who played his first game as a Canuck and seemed to be an immediate fit. Good job Canucks ( and Schneider with the shutout) and I cant wait to see you play on Saturday vs Calgary! 1y

canucksgamestars Although the canucks lost 4-0 today, Luongo still made some nice saves (including 3 unbelievable ones in the 3rd period). He let in two quick ones after replacing Schneider in the first, but was perfect after that. 1y

canucksgamestars I decided to nominate our entire first line tonight. The recently reunited Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin, and Alex Burrows combined for a total of 3 goals, 6 assists and 9 points. Each member of the line received a goal and performed exceptionally well, in our 4-1 victory over Colorado. 1y

canucksgamestars Overall I liked Jason Garrison's performance today. I found that he did very well defensively and has been finding his way in the Canucks roster this month. He calmly stopped a two on one along with many other good defensive plays (btw props to Dan Hamhuis on the toe save). Overall, our team played an exceptional game today with 17 of our 18 skaters getting shots off on net! Keep it up Canucks, and I look forward to watching you vs Colorado on thursday. 1y

canucksgamestars I think that Corey Schneider once again proved himself capable of the #1 position today. He had unbelievable positioning and performed outstandingly for his 6th career shutout. I am still amazed at how well Schneider and Luongo are cooperating, and I will be sad to see Luongo traded in the near (or maybe not) futur. 1y

canucksgamestars Although some might disagree, I liked Dan Hamhuis in Vancouver's loss against Calgary today. He made some nice stretch passes including the one on Burrows's shorthanded goal and got a total of two assists on the night. Sure Burrows and Hansen scored but Hamhuis was the one that made the plays. Personally I think that's harder to do. I don't know about you guys, comment if you have a different opinion. Anyways, despite our loss today luckily we are still in the running for a second consecutive presidents trophy if we have some luck on our sides. Keep your fingers crossed = ) 2y

canucksgamestars Burrows played amazing today; with two goals (three if you count the shootout) it's hard to argue against that. Burrows recorded his thirteenth career game when scored two goals, one from a unbelievable pass from Henrik Sedin and on a rebound off of Jonas Hiller. The Canucks are tied with the Rangers for first in the league and still hold the western conference. 2y

canucksgamestars Lapierre was outstanding in today's overtime win against Vancouver's long time rivals, the Calgary Flames. Lapierre was all over the puck creating turnovers, getting shots off and handling the puck in general. Lapierre's skills gave the Canucks a early lead from a saucer pass from Henrik Sedin. The game gave the Canucks first spot in their conference. Congrats Canucks! 2y
