bulletsandbiscuits This is what normal people do while waiting for the cable man to get here. Right!? Right !? Yeah, I didn't think so 3w
  •   april4metoo @bulletsandbiscuits thank you so much! I now have a room I can store canned goods and emergency stuff so looking into canning and other ways to prep. Will look for that book! 2w
  •   bulletsandbiscuits @april4metoo when you get ready to can check my blog out too because I post step by step pics too just to give you an idea if what stuff should look like haha also try spaghetti sauce or salsa first. Those are pretty forgiving and can't screw them up haha jams you need to measure exact and cook exact times or they will screw up. 2w
  •   april4metoo @bulletsandbiscuits thank you. Just bookmarked your blog. I have to start with the simple stuff for dummies! ... btw that Elvis bread looks bangin! 2w
  •   bulletsandbiscuits @april4metoo it is!!! I'll have more canning posts up soon I'm switched hosts and not all my posts came over grrrr. But when you start let me know of you have any questions and I will try to help you if I can 2w
  •   april4metoo @bulletsandbiscuits thanks so much!! 2w
  •   leapinglizards Have you ever tried to can spaghetti squash? 1w
  •   bulletsandbiscuits @leapinglizards no I have not. Word on the street is that you shouldn't can pumpkin or squash (because it's not acidic enough) BUT people do can it if it's cut into cubes and then processed in a pressure canner. I usually cook and mash or shred it then freeze. 1w
  •   leapinglizards Thanks! 4d

bulletsandbiscuits Homemade strawberry ice cream. I have died and gone to heaven... 3w
  •   meandean55 Mmmmm ! 3w
  •   amyjojo18 Recipe?! 3w
  •   gnicholson3 Did you get hacked earlier? 3w
  •   bulletsandbiscuits @gnicholson3 I think so! A friend text me this am about losing 13 lbs and I had no idea what they were talking about. Soon after Instagram sent an email saying to change my password due to suspicious activity. When I did my friend said it all cleared up. I couldn't see what was posted but he was dying laughing 3w
  •   gnicholson3 I thought so. It was a before and after pic of someone who lost weight and a link to diet pills. Seemed like an ironic post after this homemade ice cream one. 3w
  •   bulletsandbiscuits @amyjojo18 I used the recipe that came with the machine but of course tweaked it haha. 1 can of evaporated milk (chilled) 1-1/2 cup milk, 3/4 cup sugar, 3-4 tablespoon vanilla. Whisk together. I diced my strawberries and coated them with sugar. I let them sit while I got the rest together. I ran the milk mix in the maker for 20 min then added the strawberries and ran it another 10 min 3w
  •   amyjojo18 Thanks SO MUCH!!! Gonna try this for the 4th! 3w
