budthechud Thank you Arkansas 24h
  •   andrew_dkc You guys were incredible last night! Loved that you snuck in a hatebreed cover. 20h
  •   miriammburke @budthechud haha thanks for responding senses fail is one of my favorite bands and LIEY got me through a lot, I LOVE that album. But when I saw you guys play in San Diego, I just didn't feel the same enthusiasm from the band as I did from the crowd. It was still an exciting time for me though, so thanks 20h
  •   budthechud @miriammburke when you put things out into the world maybe think twice about your intention, wether it is necessary to say and wether it will cause harm. You hurt my feelings. I had fun at the show, as did most of the other people that were there. Your perception of the show is coming from your own mind, your reality might sometimes fall in accord with others but sometimes it might not. There also might be conditions and factors outside of your awareness at work. I've learned it's better to check your expectations because no one can live up to parameters you've set for someone else, because they are always internally manifested. 19h
  •   those_meaningful_words I have been following senses fail since your first album. And your lyrics speak to me. Honestly you got me through high school and shit now I'm doing bigger things in the navy now. Still always love and sing/scream along when your songs come up shuffling in the car! Much love and respect bud, and senses fail. 18h
  •   antonn_27 @budthechud cant wait to see you guys in seattle again. Always so much fun. 18h
  •   the_fe @budthechud just so you know, I've always liked your music, but I also thoroughly appreciate the grown-up, smart, insightful person you have become (from what I can tell here and on fb, ya know). too bad I seem to always keep moving away before I get to catch one of your shows again. it's been a blast every time I did get to go, though. 13h
  •   steph_and_noah13 Awesome show at juanita's! I'm not much of a concert person but I would definitely see y'll again!Thank you! 11h

budthechud We are all interconnected, we are not separate of this Earth. Short term gains that cause violence to the Earth are ultimately going to come back to you in this life or the next. If you don't believe in that, than think about your children's lives and their children's lives and so on and so forth. Greed, delusion and ignorance will always breed such, only love for each other and this Earth can smother those three poisons. 7d
  •   alabamamourning @chase_wm I understand facts. Facts are that not many permanent jobs will be created by this pipeline. The Koch Brothers will always take the cheap route. This includes temporary jobs for repairs and building purposes. 7d
  •   chase_wm @alabamamourning Since you prefer facts then why don't you get them from someone that understands the industry. 7d
  •   chase_wm @alabamamourning Repair workers alone will have to be on contract. And once the contract is up they either get it renewed or get another job. This pipeline would only grow the industry 7d
  •   alabamamourning @chase_wm "The State Department report puts the total at 42,100 jobs, though the definition of a job in this sense is a position filled for one year. Much of the construction work would come in four- or or eight-month stretches. About 10,400 seasonal workers would be recruited for construction, the State Department said.

When looked at as "an average annual job," it works out to about 3,900 jobs over one year of construction or 1,950 jobs each year for two years." 7d
  •   chase_wm @alabamamourning well that's all fine and dandy. But again you don't understand the industry. Welders work on contract. The contracts rarely exceed one year. They work for eight months. Take a couple months of relaxation then go back on contract. Plus, this pipeline would be a ripple affect. The towns around the pipeline would grow and industries that need the oil would grow. There is so much at stake with this pipeline 7d
  •   budthechud @thomasburchfield that the truth is that you as a human being are inextricably linked to the earth and misunderstanding of that is ignorance of the truth. We are all interconnected. 6d
  •   alabamamourning @chase_wm Did you forget the part where I mentioned Canada has a similar pipeline? Let me refresh your memory. The areas surrounding it are wastelands. No matter how many jobs this may or may not create, it's not worth destroying our environment further. 6d
  •   chase_wm @alabamamourning I'm sorry but progress takes sacrifice. And this progress my be able to fix the sacrifice. You can't be afraid of such a small consequence 6d
