brennnns I'm really starting to believe this. Every number I told myself to lift this week I did.
Told myself this morning id pull a 465+, hit a 475 just now. Not much but it's a 12lb deadlift PR w/ some fatigue still accumulated from Saturday. #slowprogressbutprogress #itsapersonaljourney

brennnns This was a productive week.
I hit a good amount of pressing volume.
I took 425x5 for a deadlift PR.. This is the 5th rep and was my opener in July.
Squats two days later still a little sore.. 365x1 pretty easyish beltless PR, 385 for 2 singles, 405x1 (first time going over 4 since September.. I need to practice heavier percentages and not let form break down on the descent. I know I can squat heaver but I panic) then 365x5 matched a 5 rep squat PR and did it easier than the last time.
Need to rest up for bench and deadlift singles beginning of next week. Done for the week

  •   ericfritz I'm the same exact way. I have no prob hitting high 300s for my squat, but for some reason anything over 4 sort of freaks me out regardless of how smooth it is. 7d

brennnns Starting a higher volume week today and made a few mistakes.
Did singles up to 325x5, and 315x2x5 squat. (Was supposed to be sets of 5 up to 325, then 3 down sets of 315)
275x5x3 stiff legs (was supposed to be 5x5)
I only caught it on the way home so to try and make up for some lost volume I did 275 stiff-ish legs for 5 more triples lol.
