breeskoo In my feelings right now about all the negative backlash I always receive for posting things that other people refuse to acknowledge, or claim doesn't exist. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of all the horrible social injustices in this world and I will continue to speak up and fight for what is right and point out what is wrong. So please don't waste your breath by trying to argue points with me while coincidently being oppressive and dehumanizing. Do yourself, and everyone else, a favor and get lost!🏼🏼 1w

breeskoo Rest in power, Mike Brown. Your death is remembered and is fuel to our daily fight for justice. Your life mattered. #blacklivesmatter #mikebrown 2w
  •   breeskoo His previous criminal record has nothing to do with him being shot and killed as an unarmed black man walking down the street. 2w
  •   danamorphs @breeskoo I love how you stand up for things and step outside yourself to see different sides of events. You'll do GREAT things. Don't listen to trolls who don't know or attempt to understand the struggles of people different and less fortunate than them 2w
  •   breeskoo I love you Dananut!! Thank you, I don't let the trolls get me down, they're only fuel to my fire @danamorphs 2w
  •   sentor_curtis @danamorphs could not have worded that any better than what she did. By the way, I respect you for posting this. @breeskoo 2w
  •   breeskoo Thanks, @sentor_curtis I'm glad you respect me for posting this! I don't know how anyone could not care or not be concerned with #mikebrown 's death and the events that followed. 2w
  •   mkbayless There is alot of pointless tragedies and violence being caused by police recently I agree with you there. 2w
  •   mkbayless Destroying cities isn't an answer though. 2w

breeskoo Feminist words of wisdom for all the women out there who feel like they "owe" it to men to do certain things, be certain things, or act a certain way. Remember these words, stay strong and know you are worth more 3w

breeskoo Kind of dark, but we need to realize the effects our actions have on this beautiful planet. We're destroying it and need to be fighting to save it! So plant a tree, recycle, start a compost, DO SOMETHING to help your planet be better!! 🌍🌎 #EarthDay 1mon

breeskoo Oh and also #EqualPayDay !! The wage gap DOES exist and it needs to be addressed! Women cannot wait until 2058, we need equal pay for equal work now!! 2mon
  •   chrisrostswag Why 2058? 2mon
  •   breeskoo Its the year the wage gap is expected to disappear. Women are expected to finally receive equal pay for equal work according to the previous rate of increase for women's wages. @chrisrostswag 2mon
  •   dek580 I agree there is a wage difference between the many races of women but education plays a big role in that. Most races that live in poverty have to work right out of high school... If they even finish... To help support their families and do not ever attend college. BUT by raising women's wages across the board, I think the wage difference will begin to disappear because more will have the opportunity to go to college. 2mon
  •   breeskoo Women who graduate from college with all A's will make the same in the same job as a man who graduated with all C's. Education is important, but the wage gap still exists with higher level education. We need to raise the wage gap to ensure women are paid for the same amount of work! @dek580 2mon
  •   dek580 True. But a Woman who attended college will make more than a woman who didn't. And most poverty stricken areas have a high population of Hispanic and African American families, which is why there is a wage gap between the women of different races. The other aspect is how the culture views women in the work place. My ex in laws actually told their daughters, "find a white man, get knocked up ASAP, and have them pay your way!" Clearly, certain cultures do not hold much room for the females to become educated or break the mold they've been taught. 2mon
  •   breeskoo Society has never truly placed importance on a woman's education. It's always "as long as you're pretty, you can find a rich man to marry and he will take care of you". I agree with you entirely but I feel that happens among all races. Women in general are still seen as less than, especially in a work environment compared to white men. And if they're not white themselves, they have it even harder. @dek580 2mon
  •   breeskoo @dek580 I'm not discounting anything you're saying. Education pays a big part in the wage gap, but that isn't the only factor. 2mon

breeskoo Some much needed feminism for your Tuesday blues! 🏼🏻 2mon
  •   breeskoo Because your women's studies teacher and I are correct, @chrisrostswag sexism is everywhere!! @srrockk_nochase it's hard not to pick out all the sexism now a days!! 2mon
  •   alisxc @http.uglyjae @adri.t.cupid 2mon
  •   srrockk_nochase I know it's so easy like I didn't really notice until I became a mother but it's bad 2mon
  •   papa_skinny_p Do something about it! 2mon
  •   breeskoo Once you learn about all the sexism, it's so hard to unsee it all! @srrockk_nochase I am!! I'm an activist and plan to get a degree in women, sexuality and gender studies to help educate others!🏻 @papa_skinny_p 2mon
  •   newandimprovedmrs.taylor Maybe it should be called ...equality. instead of sexism. It all boils down to being fair and equal. 2mon
  •   breeskoo Well equality is about being truly equal. Sexism is discrimination based on someone's sex. Whether that's someone who thinks a woman can't work in a field dominated by men because she's a woman, or a man being looked down on because he wants to be in a profession dominated by women. Ending sexism would lead to equality. @newandimprovedmrs.taylor 2mon

breeskoo Feminist thought for your day!To all those struggling with their self image: LOVE YOURSELF!!! I know it's hard but your outer appearance does NOT define you. You define you. Practice self love!! Stop referring to yourself as "a fat whale". Love your body and treat yourself like you would tell your friend to treat themselves. 2mon
