breepickles How do you store your not-in-use quilts? My quilt rack is always overflowing, even with seasonal decor ones hiding in with their holiday's decor- I've resorted to baskets by the bed! 1w
  •   kbcjohn Mine are folded and stacked on top of my cabinets in my sewing room. 1w
  •   craftymomma24_7 I have a quilt rack upstairs and downstairs, for the ones that aren't on beds. 1w
  •   josieann86 I took the drawers out of my old nightstand and have 5 stacked inside it in my guest room. The rest are in the closets or on beds 1w
  •   breepickles @josieann86 oh I like that! Maybe I'll find an old nightstand to do it too! 1w

breepickles Lookie there, I still sew sometimes! Sorry for all the dog posts lately, Texas has been consuming a lot of my time and thoughts. They drained his second hematoma today and gave him a shot so we can hopefully avoid surgery on that. Fingers crossed! In the meantime, finally adding stars to the bunny quilt. 1w

breepickles You guys... His other ear now has a hematoma. Can I quit 2015 yet? That's another $375 surgery. 2w
  •   tabbycornelius He is beyond adorable though!! We went through this at the beginning of the year. Our 11 year old German Shepherd just seemed to have one thing after another. I promise it does settle down 2w
  •   breepickles @tabbycornelius I hope so man. It's been skin infection, ear infections, more ear infections, ear hematoma, another ear hematoma. Add in broken fridges, broken phones and hacked bank accounts and 2015 can just go right ahead and end now please! 2w
  •   tabbycornelius I swore the first 6 months that 2015 was out to kill me at least you've got that adorable face to look at! 2w
  •   breepickles @tabbycornelius I can't say I'm glad I'm not alone... But I'm glad I'm not alone! I think I broke my karma somehow. 2w
  •   tabbycornelius Haha I remember having that same thought. Like what did I do so bad to the universe 2w
  •   diwy0912 Oh my so sorry for this little guy and you! 2w
  •   honeyguide Poor guy. 2w
  •   annaorduna I'm sorry, hope he feels better soon 2w

breepickles Bought a crate for the new puppy off a yard sale group. Might have misjudged the size. That's my 130 lb American bulldog looking like a midget in there. 2w
  •   breepickles @bneely80 unfortunately, this isn't for him haha. It's for a puppy that's around 10 lbs! He will grow of course, but he will still only be half the size of this one 2w
  •   bneely80 Oh my! That's a different story!! You can always partition off part of the kennel..?? 2w
  •   bneely80 Oh! I just remembered! The blue hound!! Adorable!! 2w
  •   breepickles @bneely80 I think we will have to finagle a partition for a little while :) yep, the bluetick! 2w
  •   lindseyburnettphotos That's the same size we got but it came with a divider. It's ginormous. When do you get to bring your puppy home? 2w
  •   lindseyburnettphotos So exciting! 2w
  •   josieann86 Crates are a life saver with pups! 2w

breepickles For this little chicken, this is huge! He's still working on swimming with his face above the water, but now he can swim across the deep end by himself! 3w
  •   craftycop 🏼🏼🏼 3w
  •   solarthreads Yea! He's got a fanatic dolphin kick! Maybe a future butterfly swimmer! does he like goggles? All the competitive swimmer won't swim without something covering their eyes as well, so he's in great company! 3w
  •   solarthreads Ha! Meant to say fantastic! 3w
  •   breepickles @solarthreads he will only swim with goggles as of right now. Big source of comfort for him! 3w

breepickles Went with the slightly patterned blue for the Dresden backing. Top half-ish is almost sewn. What should I put under the swoon? 4w

breepickles This queen sized quilt is up for sale . It measures 88" tall by 108" wide approximately. Drapes well down the sides on my queen size! It is machine quilted and bound, and has been washed. Heavy polyester batting makes this super poofy (about 3/4" thick!) and super warm. Made using mimosa jelly rolls. Asking $470 shipped in the U.S. Dm with inquiries, leave PayPal to claim. 4w

breepickles What about the blue in the lower left, placed where the mint is in the upper right? There's s slight pattern in the blue, white lines- does it still make the dresdens pop enough? I moved the lighter Dresden onto the blue so you can see the contrast. The solid just feels so heavy... But it makes the dresdens stand out. I'm so stuck! 4w
  •   breepickles (Pardon the lack of pressing on the blue. I tossed the whole folded piece on the wall for a pic two seconds before leaving the house) 4w
  •   pinkkrystal I'd go with the solid. Good contrast but not too stark. Seems to help anchor everything. 4w
  •   elletaylor7 I like the blue. 4w
  •   iheartdl Blue looks good! 4w
  •   solarthreads I love the blue! I think it plays better with the quilt than the solid mint, if that's what you're asking. 4w

breepickles I have a mildly unreasonable necklace obsession... But when you get 'em for a buck each, why not get 'em all? 1mon
  •   dawny_cakes Mine is getting big too! I've been making them with clearance beads lol same kind of deals... 1mon
  •   breepickles @dawny_cakes I'm lazy! I shop at shopmissa.com - it's all a dollar. It's the quality you'd expect for a buck, of course. Stuff breaks. But if I really like it I can get three and still only spend $3 lol! 1mon
  •   dawny_cakes Nice! 1mon
