In a pan Make tadka, onion, tomatoes and add whatever veges or greens u like and then add to ragi flour with salt then add boiled water little by little to make a stiff non sticky dough and Flatten it in to a roti by help of little water on a banana leaf or plastic cover and then cook on tawa like roti. 3d

biutifulmess Ever try a cake rusk? Its a double baked cake. Crispy like rusk so the name i guess. I remember picking up a packet (Britannia's I believe) randomly in a Indian grocery store in singapore, loved it but completely forgot and only now had the chance to eat this again thanks to my brother who got it from a bakery in bangalore.   •   biutifulmess @shalinipriyanka wash and soak 1 cup foxtail millet and 3/4cup moong dal or tuvar dal together for 15 mins. In a cooker Heat oil add mustard, jeera, curry leaves then 6-7shallots finely chopped then 2 ripe tomatoes and cook till they rmushy, add turmeric, chilli, coriander and sambar powder, drumsticks and other preferred veges, salt, 6 cups water and cook for 4 whistles. For tadka heat ghee and add cashews, grated coconut. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve. :) 2w
