bittersweetcity I'm leaving the metropolis this time next week and the skyscrapers and traffic will give way to the squares and balconies of Barcelona again. NYC: it's been a ride, I'll give you that. Here's a nice corner of rare greenery, taken from the roof of the Met. 4d

bittersweetcity A Wing & A Prayer.
After almost 8 months in New York, and lots of big, huge life reasons pulling me back to Europe, it's decided. I leave (to return to Barcelona and my beloved @voicefromspace,who for many sad reasons couldn't join me here), in July. It's been lots of things. Sometimes lonely, yes, an amazing opportunity, sure, and a completely unforgettable experience making new friends in a very full-on city. I don't regret coming, but I'm going to be so glad to live in Europe again. I pray I find a job - some contacts but nothing certain yet So... if you're in NYC before July, say hello!

  •   man_w_umbrella I do enjoy your photos wherever you are K- but you have ages more to be in NYC. Have you ever seen Léon - your photos remind me of that- America through a European filter. 3mon
  •   neenen Tough decision, Kakes but the right one I'm sure. Well done. I'm glad you'll be closer to Londres xxx 3mon

  •   bittersweetcity @oh_my_st4rs Thanks Simon! I loved Léon - I guess the school I work in is that exactly - America through a very French lens. Maybe that's the inspiration! (That, and I've always wanted to pare down my possessions to a suitcase and a potted plant like Jean Reno ) 3mon
  •   bittersweetcity @neenen we're gonna hang in B-town now, surely!! Yes and double yes it's the right decision. Will enable us to get a dog at last, too!! 3mon
  •   neenen A Barca-doggy? Amaze! We are defo gonna visit this time round! Just say when is good. Whooop :-) xxx 3mon
