birdsofaheather Roby & I took lil o to a doctor's appointment today & received wonderful news (that we had been praying for!) We took her out to lunch, & I was able to capture how much Olly adores her Dada in a few snaps. Be.still.my.heart. 2w

birdsofaheather Marley wants you to know that if you post a snap of your bare feet on Instagram with the hashtag #withoutshoes, @Toms will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. How rad is that?! 2w

birdsofaheather This little stray cutie got separated from his Mama when the lawn guy came to our neighborhood. He ended up hiding behind our air conditioning unit. We spent an hour with him before returning him to his siblings in a backyard a few houses down. Olly cried, & I must admit I wish we could have kept him... 1mon
  •   birdfolk Awwwww my faves are the RBs! Just bc my favorite cat was one. I miss him ;) 1mon
  •   lizsdropsoflife There is no way I could ever give that little cutie back. In fact I would probably take in the whole family. 1mon
  •   birdsofaheather @lizsdropsoflife If I still lived on several acres of land, I SO would have taken them all! I've had 56 cats in my lifetime! 1mon
  •   lizsdropsoflife @birdsofaheather seriously give me all the property! I would have a whole animal shelter. 1mon

birdsofaheather I struggle with finding balance. There are SO many things I need to focus on & seemingly not enough time to do everything! I am constantly trying to juggle a million things, and often feel I fall short...unfortunately sometimes things (a clean house) fall by the wayside. I am realizing I need to be more proactive about getting my health where it needs to be. Yes, I'm thankful I finally have a diagnosis, but I need to make time to take the steps/supplements my functional doc gave me like I should have been doing for months...and be so MUCH better with meals. I made it a goal to cook every night for my fam except weekends (leftovers & maybe go out once or twice)...& I managed to do that for 2 weeks. Then we took a trip for Spring break and while I tried to eat healthy for the most part (even taking salmon and other food along with me in a cooler), I made some mistakes (wings!) & somehow got glutened...or maybe my gut health just took a dive. While still away, all the joint pain I had for years crept back. I couldn't figure out why! I only have a few hours a week without Aven, & although I was supposed to be cleaning and doing several things for my business today, I had to cook some nourishing food to try to get me back on track. I'm hoping healthy choices will turn into some energy for me so I can juggle all the things. It all feels a bit overwhelming! Thanks for letting me vent. 2mon
