beth_schaub Good morning!! Cardio, upper body and abs done for the day! While I was at the gym this morning I saw the quote about how muscles are torn in the gym and built during rest and I really like that statement a lot! Helps remind us why rest days and listening to our body is so important! The 5 lbs of fat vs. 5 lbs of muscle pic also caught my eye because it is a great visual reminder! I am on week 14 and while I have only lost about 4 lbs, I have noticed a huge improvement on how my clothes are fitting! Just goes to show the scale sucks! happy #humpday ! 9h

beth_schaub Cardio and abs done! That was all I had energy for, but believe me it felt so good to be out of bed! My temp got up to 103.5 yesterday and then finally broke last night and I woke up this morning and have been temp free all day (my doctor tells me once the temp is gone on its own, you're not contagious anymore so I wasn't spreading germs) and other than that horrible fever, I have still not had one other symptom! Going back in the morning to get back on my beloved gym schedule and to lift some weights! Good night! 1w

beth_schaub Yesterday's upper body workout on top and the bottom is this from my cardio and abs sesh this morning! I love racing the clock and burning more calories than time spent! I always try to stay within my target heart rate though! Protein shake and a banana for breakfast and #nocheatapril is almost done! Do something to get your heart rate going today for at least 30 mins today! 2w

beth_schaub A glimpse into my day! Hubs had an early day this morning so I couldn't make it to the gym this morning so I went tonight instead! Just got home, gonna eat, shower and repeat in the morning! Tonight was upper body, some cardio and abs and tomorrow morning will be lower body #noexcuses 2w

I'm gonna be so sore in the next day or two 😟 Putting myself on a new eating plan, but it's NOT a diet, just like it says above ️ Don't worry though, still on #nocheatapril, but it took less time than I thought for me to be able to not be tempted to cheat! Week 11 is over half way done and I burned 365 cals in 39 mins doing lower body and abs this morning at the gym going to help someone rearrange bedroom furniture this morning so that will just be an extra workout! ️ Tomorrow is FRIDAY! 3w

  •   beth_schaub @acluffschmidt I ADORE Dr. Bullaro, but I am going to switch once I need my next annual exam... I had two appointments last year, one scheduled the year before, one I scheduled 4 months prior because that is how backed up she was and both times I was cancelled on (I was sitting in the room in a paper gown and she left to go deliver) and told I would be rescheduled and never was Dr. B just has too much on her plate and has even sent an email out saying all patients will be seeing the nurse practitioner, unless you specify that you want to see her. If you are ok with that, then I say switch to her, but I reallllllllly like seeing my actual doctor when I schedule an appointment 😕 @kandibrown3 switched to Dr. Layton and really likes him a lot! Maybe give him a try? 3w

beth_schaub Soooo I accidentally overslept my alarm this morning I decided to take Baby Guy on a 30 min bike ride for cardio and was gonna come back and use my weights and kettle bell to do upper body at home. Then I remembered that I wanted to surprise Hubs and clean up the yard, tree and sidewalk (BEHIND our back wall ) that we just found out we are supposed to take care of ourselves! Well, 1 hour and 45 mins later, 4 of the huge silver yard bags later and me working as fast as I could and it's done! I know between clipping the tree branches, raking and then cleaning it all up and lugging it back to the trash can to the front of my house that I am going to be soooo sore tomorrow haha! Happy Monday! 3w
