b_kelz Today was the farthest I've ever ran. My time wasn't very good, but I'm really happy to have a new personal record. 3d
  •   b_kelz Also. Holy crap did it hurt. 2d

b_kelz #DailyRunPhoto I've been lifting more than running due to scheduling conflicts. (Things always seem to pop up during running days, but not lifting days?!). The past two runs have ended fairly quickly due to my Achilles' tendon tightening to the point of hurting/me not being able to move my feet up and down. I thought I had been stretching just fine, but I suppose not. 1w
  •   marg0g0 Whoa :P' 1w
  •   b_kelz @marg0g0 I have a water bottle that I take to work and I usually refill it about 6 times while I'm there. That's the only reason why I know. Hahaa 1w
  •   marg0g0 And whoa that's a lotta watta! 1w
  •   marg0g0 I need to be you 1w
  •   hiimtravis Please explain more. Where exactly are you feeling the tension/pain? 1w
  •   b_kelz @hiimtravis the space between my calf and heel... Lower half of the lower leg in the back. It feels like a guitar string (but wider) pulled too tight. It's only happened when I've ran. When it happens, I have to stop because it hurts. Walking is less painful (I imagine because I'm using my heel more than the ball of my foot) and if I put my leg out and try to move my foot up and down at the ankle, it won't move too much without pain. 7d
  •   hiimtravis Is it with both feet? A good stretch would be to put the toes of the affected foot against the wall while standing and lean your weight against the wall, you'll feel the stretch all along your calf. Also, you can take your Achilles' tendon between your thumb and forefinger and twist from side to side(while your foot is relaxed, don't worry, the tendon is strong) that will relax the muscle and make it easier to relax. 6d
  •   b_kelz @hiimtravis yes, both! Ahh! Thank you so much for the tips! 5d

  •   b_kelz @hksutherpuff it had a collar! I couldn't read it, thought. They kept wanting me to scratch their back and would nip when I went to read the tag on its collar. 3w
