atomicvibe I'm working on getting up some new content on my website.

Here's another little sneak peek at some branding I did a while back at HZDG for a high end real estate property. Stay tuned for more.

The name of the property is an allusion to Thomas Perry, an early inhabitant of Potomac, MD, who built the Perry Store in 1881. A signature is implied by the hand-lettering of the logo, which is intended to anthropomorphize the property by imbuing a warm sense of personality and character.

atomicvibe Many people have asked how I create my complex seamless patterns. Well, here's a quick look at my process.

This Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) pattern was designed for @tealettea packaging.

  •   tealettea Love love love 2mon
  •   atomicvibe @nuxskyjuice Thanks, homie! 2mon
  •   atomicvibe @tealettea I plan on doing a process video for each of the patterns I designed for you guys 2mon
  •   linn_designs This is beautiful! How did you make this? I just started doing patterns myself for fun. This looks so professional! 2mon
  •   atomicvibe @linn_designs Hi Linn. Thanks for the comment. As shown in the video, I start off with a sketch, and once it's in a good spot, I trace those sketches in Adobe Illustrator to get really crisp lines. Add in a little tweaking to make sure the pattern tile works seamlessly, and voila. 2mon
  •   linn_designs I love it! Thanks for sharing :) 2mon
  •   willeykrewe I've always wondered how that was done! 2mon
  •   atomicvibe @willeykrewe Hey Phyllis, a much slower version of this video is on my Vimeo page (vimeo.com/atomicvibe) if you want to check it out. 2mon
