arbel420 When you go about your day, remember these words from Glenn Campbell- "Try A Little Kindness". Be nice to people and don't be an asshole. Just try a little kindness. 🏻🏽🏿🏾🏻🏿🏾🏼🏼 1w

arbel420 New haul from Goodwill: Bobby Bare, Claude Bradimore (sings Hank Williams' songs), Glen Campbell, Webb Pierce, Faron Young, Jim Reeves (x2), Marty Robbins, country compilations (x2) and Sesame album for the kids. Good times. 1w

  •   erezkop You'll are missin some Kingston trio and it a full set. Did you know that this kind of music was at the top of the charts for decades in the states until and in one day the beetles toke over the top ten chart. Imagine going to sleep in your American pie bed and knowing that the old trio is what your kids listen to like all the time (at least 4-5 songs in the top ten for years) and when you wake up your kids are in mommas kitchen listen in on the radio to "please please me" and they smile and wonder? The rest is history. 1w
  •   arbel420 @erezkop I still listen to those Jamaican boys. I love reggae and forever will. Around where I live most of old records are country ones... I do enjoy this kind of music too. I also love hiphop, jazz and blues, calypso and Hawaiian music, old rockabilly tunes and early rock. I don't discriminate music. 1w
  •   erezkop @arbel420 wow, Arbeli. I love all music too and wod never discriminate. The Kingston trio are not from Jamaica and nothing to do with reggae or ska, they are all American folk from the fifties and may I add kind of cool however they are 180️ degree turn from the FAB four. They called it the British Invasion. A spent 2 years in Jamaica and am well versed with the beat bro. I love it. YouTube: Kingston trio, greenback of dollars. You will see what I meant. 1w
  •   arbel420 @erezkop will do and report later! 1w

arbel420 "The superior Spider man - Goblin nation". I don't want to get into the details of the story here cause I don't want to give out any spoilers but I'll say that, when I finished this book I felt sad and a bit angry but then, thinking about it, I realized it was actually pretty cool that it made me feel something about it. If you like Spider-man and superior Spider-Man - read this one. 3w

arbel420 Samurai Executioner part 3 is another great installment in the series. Characters come back from previous part and our head chopper is still as humble and smart as always. I really love these books. 3w

arbel420 Just finished reading "Escapo" by Paul Pope. Great art and a smart little story makes this a very nice graphic novel. I love magic and escape artists and Paul Pope took the escaping machines and routines to the next level for sure. The story was sweet and it left wanting more of it. I enjoyed it. 3w

arbel420 Just read- The Superioir Foes of Spider-Man. Ok, ok, I know - these guys look stupid. Well... They are, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. This series surprised me so much, it's one of the best superhero (super villain) books I've read this year. It's funny and smart and quirky and dark. There are mobsters, drinking, addictions, betrayal, lies, violence, jokes, over-the-top characters and classic villains - all cramped together to create something that is bigger than its pieces. This is a fun book and I'll recommend it to anyone who loves comics. It's is targeted at more mature audiences as some of the themes are "adult" themes. And, without ruining the story, I'll just say that the last few pages are really dark and they put THE SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN (one of Marvel's best concepts to date) in a new light. Did I already say I love The Superior Spider-Man? 3w
  •   missxyien88 Man I haven't found any good finds in a minute but these r nice πŸ˜€ 3w
  •   asteroid_hopkins It took me a while but Superior Spider-Man and Foes really grew on me. Have to get the second trade! 3w
  •   arbel420 @xyiencreationz these are cool and I admit I enjoyed every superior Spider-Man I read so far 3w
  •   arbel420 @asteroid_hopkins I do like superior Spider-Man it feels the writing is growing and it's less silly than one would think... I just finished the goblin nation book and I don't know where i stand with the series and I hope they'll keep up the good work 3w

arbel420 Just finished SHOWA (part 3) by genius manga artist SHIGERU MIZUKI. This one is my favorite so far (can't wait for the 4th book about the rise of manga...). Mizuki intertwines historical facts with personal stories to teach about the modern history of Japan. The research for this book is way beyond extensive - it is a history book in a comicbook form. A great read for ww2 history buffs. The third installment is the most personal one too with Shigeru's war and post war experiences. Great book! 3w

arbel420 Just read - The Mighty. Cool story about a super guy in a non-super world and, although it was a bit predictable, I still enjoyed the story. Cool art too. 3w
