andyespinozaart Visiting the Illustration House in NY. This is a detail of a Robert Fawcett (1903 - 1967) piece. Several years ago I visited the Illustration house and Walt Reed was kind enough to open for me even though they were closed on that day. After he learned I was an illustration student he asked me to name a few artists off the top of my head. I mentioned Pyle and Leyendecker and he returned with a few paintings of theirs and handed them to me. I was blown away that I was holding their paintings in my hand. I'll never forget that visit. RIP Walt 4w
  •   xtyrestormx That's an adventure I'd love to go on. I had a similar experience at the Milwaukee art museum print and drawing archive. The lady found out I did stone litho and intaglio and she came back with an arm load of artist proof and a couple of plate for me to drool over. The behind the scenes art museums are always way more fun than the public showings. 4w
  •   vincent_nappi Fawcett! Great story, Andy. You touched greatness! 4w

andyespinozaart A few months ago I had asked folks to introduce themselves and thought I'd give it another try. Tell me about yourself. Where are you from, what are your hobbies, and what artworks do you enjoy? If you have any questions than feel free to ask. 5mon

  •   lizz_tizz I'm a person from Brazil, I'm shy and introversive and I'm an artist too. I start my studies in EBA, a great school of arts, but never finished because of my depression and panic syndrome, they became a huge obstacle. Even with this I stayed studing in home and now I can art ok, and art became to me more than a ocupation, a profession and a way to keep my body and mind free from deseases. 3w
  •   andyespinozaart @zedalexandra Hi Zed, thank you for the kind comments. I love drawing and find it to be the most fun! 3w
  •   andyespinozaart @lizz_tizz Hi, thank you for sharing with me. Its great that you continued your studying at home. Ive certainly had my own obstacles along my path and still have many more ahead, but along the way I have learned alot about myself. Although it may seem hard and dark at times, I found strength in my passion. Continue to have fun with your art! 3w
