  •   muharraqi I miss ur posts 1y
  •   anacll @muharraqi I'm really really happy to hear that :) From now on, I'll definitely try to be more present here. It just seems that people are losing the interest, and the spams and etc discourage me to post... But I forget that there's still people interested in photography and that make Instagram worth of being used. Your comment meant a lot to me, thank you 1y
  •   muharraqi @anacll thank you Ana for your kind words, I know that lots of talents left Instagram because they lost the interest, but you have to remember that alot of ppl including myself are looking forward to the arts hope to see more posts soon 1y
  •   anacll @muharraqi I'll keep that in mind, you'll definitely see more of my posts here. Thank you 1y

  •   itsnannerpuss I'm really sorry I haven't responded. I haven't forgotten you, I've just been terribly busy and my dad was put in the hospital today. I promise I'll talk with you again soon! 1y
  •   anacll No problem at all, I know that sometimes it's pretty difficult to have some free time... I hope your dad gets well soon :) @itsnannerpuss 1y
  •   itsnannerpuss I haven't forgotten you :) I'll respond back soon 1y
  •   itsnannerpuss The comment about living in the forest made me laugh because I live in a relatively wooded forest area and had two raccoons (similar to a quati I believe) eating my cat’s food tonight. For now most Americans are white and descended from the people of Great Britain and Ireland. Most of our culture, laws, norms, and language have come from there. The US and the UK have a special relationship and a lot of our TV and movies have British actors and actresses. Because of legal and illegal immigration the Latino people are on track to be the majority within the next 25 years. It’s slowly spreading and you see more and more Hispanic people as time goes on. We don’t see it as much in my state because we’re isolated because of our mountains. The US also has a strong influence of African-Americans because of slavery from long ago. And I can’t leave out the Asians, which is the smallest of the large ethnic groups we have. 1y
  •   itsnannerpuss In some areas of the country you see these different ethnic groups living together and in other parts they live more separately. Again, in my state it’s mostly white people, but in Texas you see whites and Latinos living together. It’s neat here because when you visit a different region you’re seeing similar but different cultures. In the southern states the people are mostly of Scots-Irish descent, but if you visit the state of Wisconsin they have a very strong population of former German immigrants. And if you visit New York they have a strong native population of former Irish and Italian immigrants. Across the country you see a lot of variation in the foods and language. Even though we speak English, there are many differences from the pronunciation of words to the definition of words. For example in Pittsburgh when someone is speaking to a group they might use the word “yinz”, while in Tennessee they would traditionally say “y’all” to address a group of people. The southern states have the friendliest people, while people in the north tend to be rude and think they’re smarter and better than everyone else. I can’t tell you about the people in the western states because I haven’t spent much time there, but in general they tend to be calm and pretty friendly. 1y
  •   itsnannerpuss And I'm sorry I took so long to respond. After my dad's heart surgery I sort of took a break from Instagram and have just now started to use it again. If there's ever anything American that you want a photo of just ask and I'll do my best to take it. It might just be me, but I enjoy seeing everyday stuff from other countries like car license plates or advertising for products. I kept a Pepsi bottle from Costa Rica because it looked different from the ones we have here. I think it's neat that Brasil has sabor a jamón flavored Ruffles and other flavors we don't have here. I don't know why, but I find differences like that interesting haha 1y
