amberthrane A power outage on our street means cereal for dinner, pajamas, and board games by candlelight. 48min
  •   amberthrane @theshiftcreative I'm way too excited. We had them in the mountains where I grew up and we would all huddle around an oil lamp and wood burning stove and play games so I feel a little nostalgic (Minus the fact that my food Is rotting in my fridge haha) and its a tough choice between peanut butter puffins from Traders or cinnamon life 41min
  •   theshiftcreative Aw seriously so fun! I've never had either! I thought we were twins.. Bah. I love fruity pebbles or cinnamon toast crunch but seriously can't remember the last time I had cereal prob when I was pregnant 39min

amberthrane Birthday party meltdowns. I had one of these at almost every birthday party I ever went to growing up. Like mother like son! 4h
  •   jonahbear Wouldn't be a party without one of those! 4h
  •   marylyngomes Ambs you did! But they were adorable melt downs. So glad to see it continue. 4h
  •   amberthrane @marylyngomes haha I remember! For some reason It was way too overwhelming. Missed you today! 4h
  •   kelliecote yep! 4h
  •   indiebungalow Hahaha! 4h
  •   marylyngomes Missed being there but so glad you were. Love you! 3h
  •   scoutandnimble Aww, we have all been there. I told my son when he was about this age that he was "melting down" & we were going to have to leave a party & he started screaming "I'M MELTING!!!" like the witch in Wizard of Oz. From that day forward if he was getting upset about something he would say "mama I'm melting...I need to go home." Sweetest thing ever. Not necessarily in the moment though These precious boys have our hearts, don't they. 2h
  •   nicholle_sealedwithawhisk Haha! So cute :) 2h

amberthrane Such a fun night out getting to chat with some amazingly creative moms that work hard and kick butt. Thanks to @theshiftcreative and @beijosevents for all this overload of pretty!! #youstillgotitmama 2d
  •   brittlaurie So good to meet you! 2d
  •   amberthrane @bhdbgh you're so sweet! These words made my morning. I'm not so amazing at the balance thing yet, there will always be someone (mostly ourselves) who make us feel like we aren't doing enough, either as a mom, wife, business owner or homeowner but giving ourselves grace in knowing that we are doing our best is the most amazing thing I've learned (and am always relearning) in this last year! I'm sure you're home is beautiful 1d
  •   lavendersflowers Ahhh LOVE this shot of the floral. Wish I could have stayed and met you in person. Xo 1d

amberthrane When you first get married people always say, "just wait until your second year of marriage when the honeymoon stage wears off..." Or they say "marriage is the hardest work" well I think we are breaking some serious rules of science or something because this week we celebrate SIX years of marriage and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't see what I have. Maybe it's because It isn't hard to love my husband, in fact I've never met someone so easy to love. I didn't warn you that there was a little bit of sappy in this post, but now you've already read it, so it's too late for any of that. 3d
  •   candicerwilliams We're at six years too and I agree! 3d
  •   palomalisa I love that and it's SO encouraging to hear the upside of marriage, as a single woman, instead of always the hard parts. 3d
  •   hbrovont @carrie_bowser we can try and go while you are here 3d
  •   melindamadden103 25 and still feel this way 3d
  •   brookemaureau I share the same view on marriage as you. I love it. Everyday I'm so thankful to be married... I've been a single momma before so I know how hard it is not having a soulmate. We are lucky ladies that we found ours 2d
  •   n_corbin06 @melindamadden103 that is awesome! Next month it'll be nine for us and I'm in still so in love. Happy 6th anniversary @amberthrane! And what a great photo too btw. 2d
  •   allysonm You two are the sweetest couple 22min

amberthrane @31bits picked me as one of their super-hero moms! To my kids, I have super powers. I can kiss away tears and snuggle away fears. This Mother's Day season I'm so excited to support superhero moms on the other side of the world. If you haven't heard of @31bits, they work with artisans in Uganda to make amazing jewelry out of recycled paper. I went to Uganda in highschool and met some woman making these beads before I knew about this amazing company and let me just tell you; it was such a beautiful thing to witness first hand. Lives were illuminated with hope to be able to earn an income for their families. So here's to all of the moms out there, you all are super-heroes! #momsaresuperheroes #bitsmoms 4d

amberthrane I cried like a baby watching our family video that the amazing @kavinlindgren made for our family. Im so happy to have all of my favorite little things documented forever: like my kids mannerisms and their tiny faces and the way my husband grabs my face and surprise kisses me and all the things that pictures can't quite capture in the same way. I can't stop watching. The full version is just unreal, you can click the link in my profile to watch it it takes some insane talent to capture things the way he does! 1w

amberthrane A drive down a random road led us to the most beautiful views including this one of the Columbia River. We watched the sun set over the water and then saw three different waterfalls; one of which is the second tallest year round waterfall in the U.S. at over 620 ft. tall. 1w
