amazing_syd I was inspired by @sasbot to do a piece involving one of my favorite films of all time, the Lost Boys. Here's what I came up with, hope you all like it! 4d

amazing_syd Happy Friday! Here's one of my latest chalkboard illustrations that I did for work - an homage to Basil Gogos' famous Frankenstein's Monster portrait ( using one of my coworker's faces, of course ). Have a great weekend! 6d

amazing_syd Oh hey, here's some more progress. I'm attempting to be a little more loose with this one. I think the rough lines are very fitting for this character. 2w

amazing_syd Here are some progress photos of last week's portrait. I start with a simple outline using a regular pencil and then block in values with neutral grey copic markers. Then I start tightening the lines and correcting proportions as I go. The third box shows when I start adding in all the details with the black and white Prismacolor pencils. I usually start with the eyes and the work my way around them. The last image shows the face mostly completed (the last photo was taken outside in natural light, whereas the first three images were taken indoors under a desk lamp). Thanks for reading! 2mon
