amaraydg HAPPY 80TH (jk 56th) BIRTHDAY TO MY FUCKING AMAZING FATHER. Ugh where do I begin? I have the best dad in the world. He's always there for me, always makes me laugh and is the only man who will EVER be there 1000% for me, the only man I will ever be able to fully rely on. My #1 forever. Thank you for everything you do for not only me, but Ma and Kayla too. I am so proud that you're my dad. You're the most successful man I know and it's paying off, YOU BOUGHT AN AMAZING HOUSE thank you for all the things you do, you don't get told enough how much you are appreciated. I hope you have the best birthday ever. I love you daddy 3w

amaraydg I'm not one to get mushy but I'm gunna take a minute to kind of get some emotions out of me here.

I was born in Jersey. My family moved to North Carolina when I was three years old, and after some time in a townhouse, my parents, who were piss poor at the time, finally had enough pretty pennies to make something that was their own with their new little family.

And so they built this house right here in this photograph.

It might not look like much, but to me, it's my childhood if my childhood was a building. I am almost twenty years old and I spent 17 of those years in this house. I went to kindergarten while living in this house, I graduated from fifth grade, eighth grade, and freaking high school in this house. I was reunited with my brother in this house. My little sister was born here, two of my cats passed away here, countless family dinners, holiday meals, and family gatherings took place here.
Everything that has shaped the person I am happened in this house, and as long as it stands, it'll be a part of me.

As of today, it is no longer mine. My family is living in an apartment temporarily while we wait for our new house to be built, the symbolic opening of a new chapter in our lives.

I'm excited, but also sad. While our new house will undoubtedly be beautiful and have plenty of new memories made in it, I'll never have a slue of monumental things happen in my time there.
This house means so much to me, and I'm sad to leave it, but I know that the future will hold great things.

Thanks for the memories, 3376 Cherrybrook Drive.
