alkalinesister Makin' Soup! Mediterranean Vegetable with fresh tomato/zucchini blender broth and chickpeas. No recipe really. Basically just sautee onion, add garlic, pour in tomato/zucchini broth, add sm diced veg starting with carrots first, then sweet peppers, broccoli stems, the florets and frozen green peas. Season with Italian herbs, fresh or freeze dried (oregano, basil, dill) and season with veggie boullion if needed, S&P. Enjoy with a green salad 20h

alkalinesister New Fave Smoothie for the Kids (and Me too!)
Peppermint Pattie - Chocolate Mint & Spinach
1 1/2 cups almond mylk
1 cup spinach
handful fresh mint
1/2 banana
1 scoop chocolate Vega Protein Powder
few drops peppermint oil to taste

Blend til smooth and creamy, enjoy. ps. one or two icecubed makes it taste a little frosty, just go easy as super cold beverages are harder to metabolize.
Finding variety in smoothies is important for those days when the kids don't really feel like a smoothie. Having a new tasty recipe up your sleeve is the key! Try this out!

alkalinesister Pretty breakfast for a pretty morning. Sun is peeking out, yay🌞 Hemp Spiced Chia Porridge

1/3 cup hemp seeds
1 /2 cup water
1/3 cup of coconut milk
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp coconut nectar
3 drops stevia
3 tbsp of chia seeds

Blend everything really well except the chia seeds and pour into a bowl. Wisk in chia and stir for 20 seconds. Soak for 20 mins and then top with a few berries. Enjoy

alkalinesister Cabbage and Fennel Slaw in the making. Nothing beats fresh herbs to jazz up your recipes and add more nutrients. Give this vegan version a try.
2/3 c full fat coconut milk
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tbsp coconut nectar
3-4 drops liquid stevia
2 cups grated white cabbage
1 cup grated purple cabbage
1 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup chopped fresh fennel

Wisk together coconut milk, lemon juice and stevia. Pour over grated veg and toss well. Stir in fennel and serve. Enjoy🍋

alkalinesister I'll never tire of avocado toast. Plain or jazzed up, I can't get enough This version was so yum today Give it a try next time you see Thai basil in the market.
Avo Toast Thai Style • 1 slice spelt bread, toasted
• 1 tsp coconut oil or manna
• 1 avocado, mashed
• juice of 1/2 lime
• thai spice
• crunchee sea salt

Spread coconut oil or manna on warm bread. Add lime juice to mashed avocado and a good pinch of sea salt. Spoon all the avocado on the toast. Sprinkle generously w/ Thai spice, a pinch more salt and top with fresh Thai basil leaves.
Serve with a lime wedge and more basil. Enjoy.

Creamy Dreamy Avocado Mango Cream
• 1 avocado
• 1 small mango
• juice of 1 meyer lemon
• 3 drops stevia (optional)
Blend until smooth and creamy and garnish with more mango or your favourite fruit. Enjoy sweeter tropical fruits in moderation.

alkalinesister For those mornings you wish you had woken up in the tropics! This Sunshine Bowl will take you there in an instant! • 1 avocado
• 2/3 cup full fat coconut milk
• pulp of 1 passion fruit
• juice of 2 sweet lemons
• 3 drops stevia
• diced papaya

Blend avocado, coconut milk, 1/2 of the passion fruit pulp, lemon juice and stevia. Spoon into bowl and top w/ remaining passion fruit pulp and diced papaya.
