alexelrod Laura has been wanting to start a small garden for a while now. I helped with initial set up, but she has made it her own project. She planned the entire thing, down to which part of the yard it would sit, precisely where the seeds would be placed, and even cutting all the cedar with the chop saw. So far, with all of this rain, it is doing very well! She has a grown quite fond of snail hunting #cucumbers #radishes #marigolds #jalapeños #bellpeppers #okra 5d

alexelrod Our new bar cart is slowly taking form. Still a work in progress. Challenging oneself to create out of your comfort zone is very frustrating, yet rewarding. Love this corner detail. Imperfections are sometimes the best part of the entire piece. 3w

  •   jonathan_yost9036 Hey alex I've been building stuff recently and was wondering if you have ever made anything with pallets? And if so how well does it hold up? 2mon
  •   alexelrod @jonathan_yost9036 : hey man! Pallet lumber isn't the 'highest grade' material, but that doesn't mean you can't produce killer pieces. You just have to be mindful about your joints, gluing, and hardware when assembling - you never know what you'll come across with pallets. Upcycling reclaimed wood like that is cost effective and a smart way to learn woodworking processes. I say keep going and experiment as much as possible. 2mon
  •   jonathan_yost9036 Okay, thanks for the help! 2mon
