akiraceo Tomato Mee/ Mi Dawai/ Kio chap is another signature of Kuching food but it is less popular outside of Sarawak.

Deep fried kolok curly noodles or kueh teow are topped with seafood, meat and a thick tomato gravy.

akiraceo This is the bomb. Over 14 spices are used to make the broth for Kuching laksa. If you cant differentiate a curry laksa and Kuching laksa, its either your taste bud is bad or that Kuching laksa is bad. Lol

Recently i found out Sarawak laksa is originated from Kuching.

akiraceo Kolok Mee/Mi Kolok is one of Kuching's signature dishes eaten by all Kuchingite of any race.

Instant noodle alike thin curly noodles are rinsed with boiling water before tossing with shallots, spring onions, minced meats, sliced meat, fish sauce, and onion oils.
Now Kolok Mee comes in many versions.
