_courtneyjuliet Although its raining now, I love the month of May for its aesthetic - cherry and apple blossoms blooming into bright blue skies. Those pinks and reds and whites remind me of beautiful dresses or the best sunsets. The tulips and daffodils that sprouted randomly in our yard get stronger and more vibrant. The weather is beautiful - not too hot, not too cold which is ever so important for this New England girl's sensibilities. I love how I can trade cardigans for sundresses and have more hours in a garden than behind a window. May, to me is a pretty, feminine month. I love that feeling that you made it through winter and are right on the edge of summer 3d

_courtneyjuliet A couple of months ago we were driving and he said "We aren't meant to do this life alone". I've heard this sentiment many times before whether it was quotes on pinterest or written in the pages of a book. But hearing someone you love saying it takes on a different, deeper level. "Yes", I said.
And I thought of this quote: "You’ll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. Airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. You will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else, a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things." -Jamie Tworkowski

_courtneyjuliet In the back is a vintage carosuel. I remember going as a child and being enchanted by all the lights, the pretty jewelry box music and the painted horses. Christmas time there would be more white lights than usual and I'd be wearing a red dress and winter coat and usually someone dressed as Santa would be around greeting all the children. In summer I remember pink tulips and the sunlight warm on my skin. It always held a special place in my heart and head. I never got a glimpse at the dance floor empty until last week. It looked like it was ready for dancing bd music and laughter. It would be a perfect place for a wedding, I think. Or to visit every now and then and soak in the beauty and nostalgia. 1w

_courtneyjuliet I love this old library turned into a bar & bistro. I went on a rain soaked day and loved the interior. They still kept so many of the library's details -- they even serve your receipt in an old book! 3w

_courtneyjuliet I love downtown #WallingfordCt with the historic New England stores and buildings. I love the cherry and apple blossom trees that bloom so bright and pretty in the warm springtime. I grew up in both Branford and Wallingford and found each downtown charming. My mom and I use to go to Burnetti's diner then head down to the library where I'd rummage through the books for hours. We'd get ice cream and walk past Choate. I loved the downtown then, and I love it now. 3w
