thesartorialist A very wide-legged pant can make a good base for a slim, triangular silhouette. 22h

thesartorialist Paris has its classic brasseries and Milan had their old-school trattorias and this place in the West Village, Manhattan is the American equivalent. If an Italian came to New York and wanted a real (but heavy) American breakfast I would say go their, and then home for a nap. I should take @caroissa there sometime for breakfast! She lives for breakfast. (This place is also right next to my favorite magazine store Casa Magazines). 2d

thesartorialist I should have posted about this before but I find it much more difficult to talk about my projects than my photos. However ,I have to admit, the premium denim project I just launched at Pitti Uomo with @royrogers_official has been one of my favorite adventures so far. When Guido asked me to design a small capsule collection my one stipulation was that they let me truly design something not just pick a "wash" for an already existing pair of jeans. With Guido's @biondiguido technical expertise we created very cool high-waisted flared jean(pictured) and shrunken suede jacket (pictured). We also created a high-waisted slim jean to work with a cashmere tailored sportscoat, a green duffel coat, a selection of shirts with an updated 70s collar and a range of shrunken knits that compliment the new higher waistline of the jeans. I really love it all! You'll see it in stores around the world this fall! 3d

thesartorialist I ran into my friend Ana @anagimeno222 on Via Montenapoleone while I was running to the airport! I said "hi" but ,seriously, I was running so she looks a little confused in this image to see me running away while still shooting ! I don't think I've ever seen her look anything but spectacular. 5d

thesartorialist If it weren't for the tiny digital camera this image would look more like Milan 1963 than Milan 2016 6d

thesartorialist I love that shade of warm pink and camel, a very good way for men to wear pink in the winter. @marchettisimone 6d

thesartorialist I visited the Vivian Maier exhibit in Milan last week and it definitely influenced my eye.
As soon as I left the exhibit I saw this woman standing on the corner and immediately saw the shot as a “mid-century” moment.
