10ktotalent Did I mention that we are big fans of Dijon mustard? 9lbs of goodness at a fraction of the little jars. You just have to consume it fast enough. 5d
  •   lagarfias How long does that last? 5d
  •   se7en_hoods Ha... We are huge mustard consumers too... Buy it by the gallon!!! 5d

10ktotalent #Homeschool law changes for the good for Pennsylvania. No more will public school superintendents have direct sign-off power over yearly portfolios. Anybody from that State that can confirm the good news? 2w

10ktotalent Can you spot the coyote? Normally we hear the packs howling and yapping at night, but in the past few weeks we have seen several calm acting loners in the daylight hours. #lakecalifornia 3w

10ktotalent Checking out the new e-course creation concept by KajabiNext. I love how better and easier tools keep coming for capturing what you know so you can reach hundreds or thousands of people easily with your little niche area of expertise. Not sure what the price point will be on this yet. 3w
  •   vickylyashenko I too am grateful for how much easier it is for us to create content online! I can't imagine what I'd do if it was 1998!!! 3w

10ktotalent We love our devices. How do you use them in your homeschool? #homeschool 3w
  •   dadthebaker Only my oldest has one...and that is mostly for listening to music. ... lol 3w
  •   americanfamily Dictionary and proving each other wrong 3w
  •   1teiamarie Learning games! 3w
  •   10ktotalent @dadthebaker tip for you: he can rack up a year's worth of high school English by listening to unabridged reading of The Lord of the Rings trilogy (check audible.com) and listening to free lectures on it via iTunes (search for The Tolkien Professor). Have him listen to it whenever he's doing repetitious chores like ironing or washing dishes. That would rack up about 150 hours of English. 3w
  •   dadthebaker Whoa... thanks. He read all the books already, but hey, that works! 3w

10ktotalent We are two years ahead of where I wanted to be with my oldest son. He's 16 and he's now well into finding his into the market. About one year ago, he was starting to envy that his just slightly older peers in the neighborhood were making pocket money by becoming bag boys or working at fast food places. I kept my cool on the outside, but I was not EVER going to let him go down the same path I did and have the aspirations of an employee. Mission accomplished. #10000hours #homeschool 4w
  •   10ktotalent Yes, it is! @frogcreek How old is your son? 4w
  •   frogcreek He is 12. I ordered him the base model with camera- the FC40! I am so excited! He has wanted a drone forever. 4w
  •   jehtradedollar @frogcreek try it out in a big field first. The hardest part (and still is) is know which way it's facing. 4w
  •   frogcreek @jehtradedollar yes! We plan on big open fields first with no obstructions. Also hovering low, working his way up till he is good on soft landings? Have you experienced the dreaded flyaway that I hear happens on and off? 4w
  •   jehtradedollar Yeah. Though landings are very easy as long as there's no wind. No, I've never had the fly away problem. I haven't heard of that happening before actually. If you start to fly the wrong way and panic, don't be afraid just to let go of the controller, it will slow down and just hover. The "home" feature works very well too if you fly it out of sight or lose track of it. 4w
  •   frogcreek Cool, good to know! I read a few forums and have seen the fly away, unresponsive to controller and descending rapidly problem a few times and was worried that it could happen. That would really stink! Anyway thank you so much for your information and I'll keep you in my back pocket in case we ever need any info. @jehtradedollar 4w
