keelin.crew As I sporadically captured pictures at one of my best friend's weddings, I managed to catch a great photo of this gorgeous woman who's dating another one of my best friends, Preston Crenshaw (@omnis_secundo). Hopefully I'll head up to Seattle soon to chill with you both! 11h

playingranger27 Two juvenile Coopers Hawks spotted at the park today. A few minutes later, I saw one of them fly down and catch a small animal. I couldn't see what it was, but it was pretty cool. #ocparks #nature #coopershawk #raptor #park #outdoors #parksmakelifebetter #nestingseason 1d

playingranger27 So you may see some changes at the park in the coming months. We are doing our part to save water. We are converting unused, unnecessary areas of irrigated turf to Decomposed Granite (DG). Removing water-sucking landscape plants and planting California Natives or California friendly, drought tolerant plants. We are also reducing irrigation zone run times, adjusting sprinkler head spray areas to prevent overspray, installing new rain sensors and eliminating unnecessary watering after 10am. #ocparks #doingourpart #stewardship #conservation #waterconservation #park #parksmakelifebetter #nature #outdoors #natives #californiafriendly #DG 3d

playingranger27 Canada Geese cruising around the park. PSA: Remember not to feed the wildlife. It can be very harmful to feed wildlife something other than when they are supposed to eat. It affects migratory patterns and can cause / contribute to avian diseases like Botulism. Plus,....its against da rules! #responsible #lovenature #ocparks #stewardship #park #parksmakelifebetter #canada #goose #donotfeed #poopmonsters 3d

playingranger27 We have such a wide variety of wildlife at this park, you'd be amazed. These are Killdeer eggs. We have at least two nesting Killdeer in the park. This has been a very exciting year for new and returning nesters at the park. BTW, keep an eye out for Killdeer nests when walking in nature. They tend to nest in the weirdest places, right on the ground. #ocparks #outdoors #nest #nature #nestingseason #killdeer #eggs #park #parksmakelifebetter 3d
