bewphotography After a warm and lazy day, a goodbye at the Reflecting Pool

During a break from this week's cold, it seemed as though the whole city came to life once more. Students, commuters, and even the capitol police seemed more at ease as they strolled across the national mall, mingling with the crowds of tourists who can always be seen regardless of the cold or wind or snow. And among the crowds gathered at the foot of the capitol building reflecting pool sat two students. Reading until the afternoon came nearly to a close, they stood up, kissed, and went their separate ways, each one blending into the lazy promenade of a city anxiously ready for Spring.
